Deyu does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything you write stays on your device. There is no account, no server, no cloud, no analytics, and no ads.
What Deyu stores, and where
Deyu stores the things you create: your daily moments (the sentence, its colour, and dates), the comparisons you make, and your settings. They stay only in the app’s private storage on your device. This data is never sent anywhere. We, the developer, have no access to it and no way to see it.
What Deyu does not do
No account, sign-up, email, or login.
No servers and no cloud: your journal is never uploaded.
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking.
No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
No third-party SDKs that collect data.
No selling or sharing of data: nothing leaves the device, so there is nothing to sell or share.
Cloud backup is turned off
Deyu sets allowBackup="false", which excludes the app from Android’s automatic cloud backup. Your journal is not copied to Google Drive or anywhere else by the app. If you want a copy, you create one yourself with the in-app export.
Permissions Deyu uses
Notifications: used only to show the gentle daily reminder you choose to turn on. No data is sent with it; you can turn the reminder off at any time.
File access (only when you ask): to export a backup, you choose where to save it; to import one, you pick a single file. Deyu only touches that file. It does not browse or read anything else on your device.
Your data is in your hands
Your moments live on your device. Uninstalling Deyu deletes all of it.
You can export your moments to a file you control (and re-import them) at any time, from Settings.
Because nothing is collected or stored by us, there is no server-side data to request, correct, or delete.
Children
Deyu is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
